The inspiration behind starting Volantis was to create a label that would empower women making them feel effortlessly beautiful, thinking of strength and grace, arcane beauty, archetypes of divine femininity. Launched in 2015, the brand is based both in Goa, India and in Milan, Italy. They design all of their fabrics and work with the local community in various places in India supporting their ancient craft. They combine unique blends of sophisticated color palettes in bold and include subtle geometry and innovative hand block prints with elegant and original cuts.
